"Little Miss" Tea Party

We had a girly girl weekend this last Saturday. I have a lot of pictures, so I will probably have to do 2 posts to fit them all in! Ellie got invited to be a part of the Miss Utah pageant coming up in July. She is going to be the "little miss" of Miss Salt Lake County (Devin's girlfriend, Ashley.) She gets to learn a production number, and escort Ashley out on stage when she does her evening gown and swimsuit portions for the judges. Ellie is so excited that she can hardly stand it! This last weekend we were invited to the little miss tea party in Orem at UVU. We got to dress up all fancy and wear "tea party" hats and gloves.

Quick Updates.....

6.2.09: It has been very cold and rainy the last 2 days. Everything is getting so green. We all miss Matt and can't wait to see him home tomorrow. One more week of school for Carter. He can't wait. My mom and dad are coming out in 10 days and we can't wait to have them!!! Gage killed all the ants in the kitchen with the toilet plunger. He "mashed" them all.
5.30:09: We have been to the pool twice in two days! I can feel summer coming!! The water was a little cold, but the kids still had fun. Gage is a little unsure of the water. He stays right by the side in the kiddie pool and vroom vroom's his trucks along the side. Carter is growing a bean plant that he brought home from school. He actually has been doing really good keeping it alive, watering it everyday. We are waiting for Matt to build us a garden box so that we can plant our garden, but we actually have had a couple strawberries from last years plant already! (and this year the kids' got to them before the rabbit's did!) I have ants in my kitchen and am about to my wits end to get rid of them!!! Matt is in DC for the whole weekend. We went to the temple grounds for a tour with the primary kids today. Gage was a nightmare, picking flowers, trying to climb into the fountain, but it was still nice to just be on the temple grounds. So beautiful.
5.20.09: I ran 3 miles WITHOUT walking yesterday!! woo-hoo. For me that is amazing. Ellie-bellie had her preschool "graduation" today, and then tonight we go and meet her kindergarten teacher...I can't believe she will be in kindergarten!!! Gage has learned how to squirm out of his car seat straps. Little bugger. He says "no want it" when I beg him to put them back on. Watered my flowers, cleaned the house, folded laundary. Typical day....
