Thought for the day...

I was going through some old boxes and I found this thought - it seemed so fitting, so I decided to share!

Don't Quit

When things go wrong as they sometimes will,

when the road your're trudging seems all uphill;

when the funds are low and the debts are high,

and you want to smile, but you have to sigh.

When care is pressing you down a bit--

rest if you must, but don't you quit!

Life is strange with its twists and turns,

as every one of us sometimes learns;

and many a failure turns about,

when he might have won had he stuck it out.

Don't give up, though the pace seems slow,

you may succeed with another blow.

Success is failure turned inside out,

the silver tint of the clouds of doubt;

and you never can tell how close you are,

it may be near when it seems afar.

so, STICK TO THE FIGHT when you're hardest hit--

it's when things go wrong that you must not quit!!!

I don't know who the author is, but I am hanging this up on my bathroom mirror to read everyday!!! love you all! DON'T YOU QUIT!!!

3. RN to all the many wonderful citizens of Ogden that came through the ED and now to the wonderful aches and pains of Colorado in the ED here.
4. Mom to 3 wonderful, little Lamb's.
5. Housekeeper to 4 wonderful little (and big) Lamb's.
6. Chef to 4 hungry, chubby, Lamb's.

4 foods I like:
1. Anything chocolate - I've been eating a lot of kitkats lately....the white chocolate ones are delish!
2. Japanese Hibachi restaurants....yummy
3. Italian food (especially my own chicken parmesan!)
4. Any of the deliciousness that i whip up on a daily basis!
5. chips and homemade salsa...I am getting very hungry writing this one

1. Cooking - love to try new recipes!

3. taking pictures of my kids
4. playing sports and outdoor things! (i can't wait to try out the skiing in Colorado!)

Hey mom! what can I do for you???
Uh Oh! Someone has found his fingers, much to Mom's dismay! I keep trying to pull them out and stick the binkie in instead, (my rationale is that I can throw binkies away when we are done with them, but short of cutting off fingers, they are a little harder to get rid of!) However, Gage just keeps sticking them back in and sucking like mad! I think we are in it for the long haul!
Here he is....just sucking away! Just playin with my toys, wearin my Broncos shirt.....
