We have a fun tradition at our house during the Christmas season.... My kids look forward to it every year with anticipation.... We have a special elf who watches over us and brings us a daily treat with a note to remind us to be good. The note and treat get stuck into the correct day on our advent calendar ( shown above..). The kids went to bed last night just dying in anticipation to see what the Christmas elf would leave for their first surprise..... and guess what???? The Christmas elf was sooooo tired that she fell asleep and forgot to leave the surprise!!!! ( I think she may be related to the Tooth Fairy. ) OH NO!!! Anyways... all is well and back on track as the Elf magically left the surprises while the kids were at school. phew. Disaster avoided. I would love to hear of some fun family traditions from you all..... Please share! Merry Christmas!

That is a really cute idea! Right now we have a sleep fairy that comes to our house when Ava falls asleep by herself and tries to not suck her thumb. But that dang fairy sometimes just forgets to leave her notes/treats. Ava gets all upset and I have to explain that sometimes the fairy has so many houses to go to that she sometimes doesn't always make it to everyone.
